Real Love Works 2010 - an annual week-long celebration of healthy marriages opened on a romantic note as 1,000 soon-to-wed and married couples gathered to enjoy a sunset picnic outing with a difference at Fort Canning Green on 20 March 2010.

 

Armed with a Real Love Works picnic basket filled to the brim with goodies, couples were treated to performances and activities, including roving Cupids and photo-taking sessions during the late afternoon. Couples who participated in the event were also one of the first to play and take home an exclusive couple game entitled “In His Shoes, In Her Heels”, developed by Marriage Central to help couples learn more about each other in a fun and interactive way.

Mayor Zainudin Nordin from the Central Singapore District and his wife launched this year’s celebrations, together with members from the Marriage Central Advisory Board and National Family Council.
