Marriage Convention 2011

The much anticipated Marriage Convention 2011 kicked off Real Love Works 2011, an annual marriage wellness celebration by Marrriage Central. Held for the sixth year, the Convention is one of the highlight of the week-long celebration that stretches from 25 March to 03 April 2011.

The three-day Marriage Convention 2011 is jointly organised by Marriage Central and MediaCorp Pte Ltd, in partnership with TOUCH Family Services Ltd, an affiliate of TOUCH Community Services. The Convention aims to provide a platform for couples looking for insights, advice and skills in building a strong and happy marriage.

Marriage "edu-tainers" Jay and Laura Laffoon, whose unique and motivating seminars through music and comedy have been shared throughout the United States and Canada, will be the key-note speakers. The humorous and entertaining couple will share key secrets to their loving marriage and showcase their signature event, "The Ultimate Date Night" - designed specifically for couples to reconnect their friendship and rekindle their romance at a deeper level without feeling like they have missed the mark.

Other marriage experts will also be conducting seminars at the Convention in Mandarin, Malay and Tamil to share their insights and knowledge on marriage-related topics. The speakers include:

• Chan Hon Shek and Lai Fung Ling (Mandarin)
• Mohd Ali Bin Mahmood (Malay)
• V Ravindran and Caroline David (Tamil)

Couples can look forward to a series of marriage seminars that impart skills and knowledge on how to build stronger communication, bolster intimacy in their marriage and rekindle their romance at a deeper level.
