Marriage Central Advisory Board appoints 4 new members and re-appoints 7 members for its second term
It was announced at a media conference on 26 October 2010 that the Marriage Central Advisory Board has started work on its new 2-year term (1 June 2010 to 31 May 2012). The Advisory Board consists of 11 like-minded individuals passionate about strengthening marriages. Four of them are new members, with a wealth of experience in research, journalism and social services. Ms Anita Fam will continue to helm Marriage Central in the new term. She is Vice President of the Asian Women's Welfare Association and brings with her a wealth of experience in law and public service. Marriage will work in partnership with the community to consolidate and support efforts in championing healthy marriages among couples in Singapore. The Advisory Board will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing operations for Marriage Central.
Moving forward, the new Advisory Board will build on the firm foundation that has been set to bring Marriage Central to new heights. It will continue to galvanize the support of the community and synergise efforts to make a significant impact on building strong marriages in Singapore.
